Totally HOT Thursdays

I live in Indiana and the temperature outside is HOT! But, it isn't half as HOT as the man below!!!! Now, I am all about giving credit where credit is due and when I saw a picture of this hunk on my friend, Marilyn's blog.... I knew exactly who I had to feature this week for THT.
When it comes to good looks, the gene Gods were overly generous to this man. I would love to introduce you to the amazing JAY TAVARE! (pronounced ta-vo-ray.... like cabaret)

Here are a few of his stats:
HEIGHT- 5'10"
HAIR- black
EYES- brown

Here are a few of the movies you may find Jay in. COLD MOUNTAIN starring Nicole Kidman and Jude Law, THE MISSING starring Cate Blanchet and Tommy Lee Jones, and STREETFIGHTER starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.  You may also have seen him in the TV mini series INTO THE WEST starring Keri Russel. I saw I saw Inot the West and it was wonderful. Jay is not easy to forget in his roles. He is a wonderful actor.

You can visit the site to learn more information about his movies.

Jay was born March 23, 19971. His mother was White Mountain Apache and his father was Navajo and Latin American. Adopted as an infant, Jay spent most of his years living in Europe where he became a singer in a band. His first foray into acting was in a commercial over seas. His first acting job in the USA was Streetfighter in 1994.

You may find Jay at and on Facebook at

I hope you enjoyed looking around ladies!!! I know I did!!!!
Please, if you haven't seen Jay in action, I hope you will rent one of his movies today!!!

I would also like to mention that Jay has adopted three Navajo elders from the ADOPT A NATIVE ELDER Foundation.  If you would like to learn more about this important program, please visit

  1. OH MY, oh my, oh my. He is definitely intense with those eyes and those cheekbones. Yes, Sarah, I think you just warmed up the loop with this gorgeous hunk. :)

  2. Hot, hot, hot! Thanks!
    Nancy Lee Badger

  3. THATS IT! you and Mare can not post the same men! LOL He was hot on her blog and man...he is STILL hot on your blog!

I think you guys switched places. You posted Jason Momoa and so did she and now Jay. LOL

But this is proof that you BOTH have excellent taste in hot sexy men! Thank ya Ma'am!

  4. I loved Cold Mountain and Pathfinder! I had no idea he was in either!! What a real treat this was, Sarah. Excellent choice, my dear!

  5. GREAT choice Sarah!!! Thanks for the compliments Lizzie!

I do think you posted Jason Momoa the same week I posted Jay and I posted Jason the same week you posted Jay...LOL...great minds and all!

Jay has been in some great movies with so big stars. He also played in The Missing with Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett, directed by Ron Howard. Ron asked him for advice on american indian details so the movie would be as authenic as possible. Jay worked with a relative of Cochese to learn the proper dialect. Very amazing stuff if you're into it. He was in Adaptation with Meryl Streep and Nicolas Cage. Jay also did CSI: Miami and did his own stunt of jumping out a 200 ft high window and falling to his character's death!

One of the best movies I saw Jay play in was Broken Bow. He's the lead and won an award for his performance. I'm sorry I don't remember if it was a grammy or oscar. He also has a cd coming out...can't wait!

Well, enough...this is Sarah's could sing Jay's praise just like Joe Nichols or Brooks Johnson for hours...rare to find such geniune men in our world!

  6. Mare you are such a lucky dog! you are on Jay's Facebook page. JEALOUS! I really wanted to talk to him about the whole Geronimo thing. We were going back and forth on his blog when he did his post on CNN.

I was like...OMG I'm talking to Jay Tavare! SQUEEEE!

  7. I have seen almost all of his movies and have enjoyed everything he was in. Great talent!

What I love is that not only is he so easy on the eyes, I practically swooned just making this post, but he seems genuine. Everything I read about him was impressive.

    Love it!!

Thanks for stopping by ladies! I am so glad you enjoyed this post.
