I want to take a moment and speak to you about something close to everyone's heart and that is the devastating destruction from the tornado in Alabama. My heart goes out to everyone who's life has been impacted by this terrible force of nature.

There is a wonderful program that has just been brought to my attention. It's called A Buck for Bama. This program, was started by a wonderful author, Kerri Nelson. She is a native of Alabama, so this tragedy has a personal side for her. She has always given of herself through her workshops and other charities. This is just another one of her great ideas. It is the first charity for her new blog, Charity Blog: Authors helping Others.  Here is how it works. You click one one of the links to donate $1 and ALL proceeds will go to the Elmore County disaster relief fund. The goal is to reach $1000.00. Donations may be set up through PayPal. You may donate $1 or a larger amount. Life changes on a dime and for the most part, it changes for the better. But once in a while, it throws you for a loop. I hope God watches over everyone effected. May you find the strength and hope needed to make it through the upcoming days!
