Totally HOT Thursdays

In honor of Black History Month, I an going to finish off February featuring some sexy black men.

Today's feature is someone I have watched on T.V. and in movies for a long time and I have always found him to be gorgeous.

Let me introduce you to:

Blair Underwood

BORN- August 25, 1964
PLACE- Tacoma, Washington
SPOUSE- Desiree DaCosta
KIDS- 3
PARENTS- Marilyn Ann, an Interior Designer and Frank E. Underwood, Sr., a United States Army Colonel.

As a result of his father's military career, Blair has lived on many bases in the USA and in Stuttgart, Germany. He attended school in Petersburg, Virginia and attended Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh.

He began his film debut in 1985 in a movie called, Krush Groove. He is well know for his role in the 1998 film, Deep Impact. His T.V. appearance in 19985 on The Cosby Show landed him a short stint on the soap opera, One Life To Live, also in 1985, but he is best known for his role on L.A. Law, from 1987-1994. His film and T.V. career are extensive and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Blair has also been up for many, many awards winning some, but just being nominated in this industry is a wonderful thing in it's self. He has been nominated in the Golden Globes, the Grammy's (where he won) and the Image Awards.

in 1998, he co-founded Artists for a New South Africa, a non-proofit organization dedicated to the democracy and equality of South Africa. In 1993, he won the Humanitarian Award for the Los Angeles Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association. In 2003, along with Ashley Judd, he served as a spokesperson for YouthAids.

Blair took a DNA test from AfricaAncestory.com and found out that he is a descendant of the Babungo People from the Northwest Province of Cameroon.
