Tanzey's breath was stolen and her insides felt warm and melting when she found the Indian of her fascination there, his midnight dark eyes momentarily locked with hers.

Again she saw something in his eyes besides a loathing. It was a look of wonder; a look that revealed to Tanzey that he most surely was as intrigued with her as she was with him.
